I was looking at a kit of an RC-135V that I have in the stash to see what engines were included in the kit as it has been years since I last opened the box;

What I DID find was a Hasegawa 1/72 F-104G Starfighter that I had been looking for a few months ago because I was sure I had one, couldn’t find it and thought I must have stuck it on Ebay so that was a nice surprise and I’ll have to finish it off;

I also found a 1/16 Tamiya figure of Erwin Rommel that I had completely forgotten about, in fact I don’t even remember where it come from so that was another surprise. Of course now that I’ve been looking at the RC-135V I’m fighting the urge to build it as it is a big model and I haven’t really got the space to put it anywhere….however that has never stopped me before as I built the old Monogram B-52D and an AMT KC-135A (both long since gone) so you never know. It hasn’t helped reading about the spyplanes used during the Cold War either and I have talked myself out of getting a P-2 Neptune and a B-47 Stratojet as both kits are VERY old and require a lot of work…..the RC-135 is doable though….
