Fujimi 1/72 F-4G Phantom

With the Mossie and Nakajimi done with for today, I thought I would clean up the broken parts and see if it was a viable project;

The fuel tanks will need some filling and sanding still but the fuselage halves look pretty good as both have cleaned up nicely. It will need some primer to make sure the joints have no marks or indents but so far I think I have saved it.

Also I received in the mail today an Aires cockpit designed for the Hasegawa 1/72 F-4G and unbelievably it will fit. Some light sanding will be required but on the whole it will work nicely so after Xmas I’ll order Reskit exhausts and wheels as this project is a go for next year.

I've been a modelmaker for a verrry long time and still show no signs of growing out of it after 50 plus years. I mainly build tanks, aircraft and paint figures but generally do whatever takes my fancy whether it's historical, Science-fiction, a 'what-if' or because it has pretty colours and looks nice. I'm hoping that you find my blog interesting and useful, particularly if building a model that I have built and documented here.
