ICM 1/35 BM 13-16 on G7017 base

I made a start on this kit today and the chassis and engine are almost complete;

Not a bad little kit so far! The fit of parts is pretty good but as the chassis is a multi-part assembly, care is needed to make sure it’s square and flat. I find that fixing the parts in place with liquid glue then following up with superglue helps a lot especially with the soft plastic that ICM use as the superglue adds some strength to the joints.

I've been a modelmaker for a verrry long time and still show no signs of growing out of it after 48 years. I mainly build tanks, aircraft and paint figures but generally do whatever takes my fancy whether it's historical, Science-fiction, a 'what-if' or because it has pretty colours and looks nice. I'm hoping that you find my blog interesting and useful, particularly if building a model that I have built and documented here.
