Tamiya 1/24 Porsche 934 Jagermeister

After only a couple of hours work the decals are mostly done, just the tyre, headlights and front bumper ones are left to apply. The decal for the grey strip under the front bumper will need masking and painting as it hasn’t bedded down enough and I had to slice it with a scalpel however this will be done after the model is gloss coated and the decals sealed in.

Also after the final gloss coat, the window frames, bottom door trims and bumpers will need masking and painting. I may brush paint these rather than spray them but I’ll decide nearer the time.

The wheels will be masked off next and the tyres sprayed with gloss varnish so that I can apply the Goodyear tyre logo’s.

Again these will be over-sprayed with gloss varnish to seal the decals in then matted down before spraying the tyres with a dark grey and the wheel centres with Tamiya X-19 Smoke to tone down the chrome finish.
