Tasca 1/35 Luchs (late)

Although I virtually finished the construction last Sunday, I’m still drilling out the Fruil track links;

I do have a short length of track assembled;

I’m doing a few links at a time as work is getting in the way so it’s going to be a long job, I’ve also had to order some more 0.5mm drill bits as the ones I have are getting blunt. Instead of the stuff Fruil supply I’m using 0.5mm brass wire cut to just under 10mm lengths to join the links together.

When I’m done messing about I have some UMP track burnishing fluid to try out as painting metal tracks doesn’t really work.

I've been a modelmaker for a verrry long time and still show no signs of growing out of it after 50 plus years. I mainly build tanks, aircraft and paint figures but generally do whatever takes my fancy whether it's historical, Science-fiction, a 'what-if' or because it has pretty colours and looks nice.
