Tamiya 1/24 Porsche 934 Jagermeister

I’ve had a bit of a set back this week as trying to rectify a couple of areas of paint, it resulted in a total respray that ended up with noticeable marks and indents in the paint as well as the ever present dust. So rather than trying to flog a dead horse I’ve decided to strip the body shell and try again;

Like I said in an earlier post, I think I have reached the limit of what I can do as with no spray booth, a dusty house and having to use rattle cans outside I just cannot get the finish you need on model cars. I still have other cars in the stash but when they are done I think I will stick to what I know, plus I should be receiving some kits from ICM and Miniart for build reviews shortly so once they arrive everything else will be paused while I concentrate on those.

I've been a modelmaker for a verrry long time and still show no signs of growing out of it after 48 years. I mainly build tanks, aircraft and paint figures but generally do whatever takes my fancy whether it's historical, Science-fiction, a 'what-if' or because it has pretty colours and looks nice. I'm hoping that you find my blog interesting and useful, particularly if building a model that I have built and documented here.
