ICM 1/35 Model T 1917 Ambulance (early)

I’m nearly done with the build;

The kit has been virtually built over a weekend and it probably helped that apart from tweaking the steering assembly and adding copper handles either side of the bonnet, this has been straight out of the box with no added aftermarket. What you see is what you get!

The Model T is a pretty basic vehicle so what is supplied in the box is good enough. Fit of parts has been pretty good although just checking to see if the chassis is still flat by putting the wheels on, it would appear there is a twist in the chassis somewhere. I’m not really surprised as the plastic is quite soft so I’ll be able to gently bend the axles until the model sits flat.

I've been a modelmaker for a verrry long time and still show no signs of growing out of it after 50 plus years. I mainly build tanks, aircraft and paint figures but generally do whatever takes my fancy whether it's historical, Science-fiction, a 'what-if' or because it has pretty colours and looks nice. I'm hoping that you find my blog interesting and useful, particularly if building a model that I have built and documented here.
